The practice
About Tropical Sevens
Tropical Sevens is a sound healing practice devoted to the seven chakras — bowls in the hand, mudras on the knees, yoga in the body, and a belief that water is listening.

The name is simple: tropical, because this work is warm, lived, and close to water; sevens, because there are seven gates, seven tones, seven mudras that make a complete circuit. Sessions happen in person and virtually. The portraits on this site are the practice itself — one bowl, one center, one evening at a time.
We stand with Masaru Emoto's photographs of frozen water. Love grew crystals. Contempt grew wreckage. If that is even partly true, then the way we sound — and the way we speak to our own water — is not a small thing. That is the whole of Tropical Sevens.
Ways to sit with the bowls
Private sound bath · 60 minutes
A full bowl journey through the seven centers, with time at the start to name what is asking for balance.
Virtual session · 45 minutes
Live, remote. You rest in your own room; the bowls travel through the speaker. Headphones help, but are not required.
Chakra focus · 30 minutes
One center, one frequency, one mudra, a short body sequence. For when you already know where the work is.
